I've not watched this competition yet.... silent I heard that Patrick Chan's steps were sooo nice though it was Practice. anyway I'll watch them on youtube asap. I remember that I was exciting on Patrick Chan's performance of 2008 Canada nationals.

I'm sorry for Yannick - he lost bronze by less than a point...still it's great to see him fighting til the end despite the mistake on the first jump. It wasn't always like this in the past. I'm not into Chan's skating - his perfomances don't appeal to me. Ryan Bradley at first made me Suspect but then greensmilewinkgrin - got me in the better mood. I find Evan's LP boring (with an exception of the last step sequence) and oh, he looks fat in this costume (Brandon Mroz had a terrible costume too). Shawn Sawyer rocked!

Like Nina, I can't wait to see Pechalat/Bourzat's (especialy Fabian faint18x19wy5 naughty15kz ) FD!!!

Congrats to Joannie clap !!!!Concerning Carolina.....I don't worry much, cause it was her first GP of the season,so its completely natural that she isn't in her best shape yet(its still a long time till Europeans....enough time to improve jumps and stuff Wink )!!!!At first I was "shocked" as her choice was Swan Lake, but now I very much love it,as it isn't a much used part of it!!Though I would so much love that the ladies would leave the classical music and choose something different, like Sarah, who here and than took movie soundracks!!

Karen thanks for the news about Ryan Very Happy!!!Oh,I really enjoyed his LP yesterday so much(veeeery entertaining) Cool!!Already looking forward to see it at TEB!!

Ahaha,I think I saw her,too lol! !!Can't wait to read her impressions about SC!!

i did not manage to watch much of skate canada since i was not home. i just watched now the free dance. i liked the little Canadians ( sorry i do not remember their names ) and i already knew i like nathalie and fabian fd. but nathalie and fabian seemed e little tired and out of focus.
davis and white are quite nice and i must say i love charlie's hair Razz

i will watch the rest of the programs to see what everybody is talking about. but i must say i dislike patrick chan a lot and i will sure not be happy if he gets ahead of brian. i just don't like the way chan looks on the ice.

saori, your ryan bradley banner is a lot of fun !!!!

I was watching the FDs live and I have to say I was quite bored until Nath & Fab came, though it´s true, they looked definately out of control and speed this weekend, let´s hope it´s nothing serious...
I have to say I absolutely LOVED Davis & White´s FD - it was GORGEOUS!!! I never thought I would say it, but they really got me Very Happy Besides, I almost burst into laugh when the Czech commentator said that their style and looks remind him of Marina Anissina & Gwendal Peizerat - I think that´s a bit exaggerated but anyway, a great compliment sunny I´m sure they will give B/A a run for the money when they meet head to head, I definately prefer their FD to Tanith&Ben´s Wink

I didn't think that! I really liked Ekaterina BOBROVA / Dmitri SOLOVIEV and Kimberly NAVARRO / Brent BOMMENTRE USA . They had good program, dynamic.
Even if I am a fan I don't know why but I didn't like so much Natalie/Fabian' s program hide8up
Davis and White had a very nice performance and I'm glad for them.

The ISU lists Alexander Uspenski. I remember seeing him at Skate America (2004 S.A. as well)

http://www.isufs.org/bios/isufs00005589.htm

Then when I saw Uspenski at Skate Canada, I was confused when I first saw him. Then I noticed his name is Vladimir Uspenski. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9hoiGh5UfE

Don´t get me wrong, I appreciate everyone´s effort, I know how hard it is for every skater, but until the last two couples I had the feeling that I´ve seen all that before, it was almost like a deja vu - the Romeo & Juliet was exactly like Fusar-Poli & Margaglio in 2001, Requiem for a Dream was the same dramatic mood, the lifts with most of the couples were the likes of Delobel&Schoenfelder, Kerrs or Anissina&Peizerat, nothing really new...
I can understand your feelings with Nath&Fab, I think it´s mostly because they didn´t seem comfortable at all and it spoiled the whole atmosphere of the programme. However, i think this FD has a potential, it has a lovely choreography and if skated relaxed and perfectly I´m sure, you will like it much better Smile
