| Thanks for the article, starg!!
I heard a rumour about the "Schindler's List" program ... so it seems to be true. I love this soundtrack, but it is imo no easy stuff (neither is the movie!!). So, if a skaters manages to pull this music off, which I think is artistically demanding , I'm sure I would love the program and probably cry the first moment I see it. But if skaters can't really connect to that music, I guess I would hate the whole program, because it ruins the music (and what's behind it!!!) for me. What I want to say: I guess it is a hard job to create an appropriate program to that music (and what people connect with it) but I also hope that S&S can do it!!! It could be a masterpiece!!

I'm looking forward to see them and the new program there!! _________________ ~Nina~ |

| I totally agree with Nina's post. Picking piece of music that carries such a huge emotional baggage is risky but also challanging. I believe they'll create an outstanding program and I'm so looking forward to see it!!! _________________ ~ Malgosia~

| Oh, Schindler´s List should be their music? That would be incredible! I do believe that they are able to express that music and mood of it perfectly. Aliona is such an emotional skater and Robin matches her very well. Keeping my fingers crossed for them on this
Thanks for the info! |

| I guess we can see their new SP costumes here:

I think I liked Aliona's previous hair better. Don't know what to think about the costumes... The glimpse of their SP is here (difficult to identify the music piece though): http://www.sachsen-fernsehen.de/default.aspx?ID=1751&showNews=247044&newVideo=NIF_Eislaufen_070708.wmv _________________ ~ Malgosia~

| It looks more like an exhibition program, maybe that's what it is.. _________________ "Ice-Skating is life, the rest is just details" |

I'm afraid not. According to the news here, it is their brand new SP to the music from "Lost in space": http://www.paarlauf-fanclub.de/paarlaufnews.html
I'm staying optimistic though- the costumes are planned to match the music choice & the overall concept of the program . I've been kinda with Brian's costumes (some of them!) for a couple of seasons and i think it's a matter of getting used to. _________________ ~ Malgosia~

| you know.. when I saw their costumes last year I hated them but after hearing the music I think they were great. I guess it'll be the same this year. Or for example - if you saw Kerr's costumes without the FD you would most probably hate them too as for Aliona's haircut... uhm I liked her better in the previous one. she looks older now. _________________ ~Marta

| Yeah well maybe if we see the whole program it will be better..maybe they will even change the costumes if they realize nobody likes them by the time of Euros.
Can she look any more skinnier? lol _________________ "Ice-Skating is life, the rest is just details" |
